CD Javea is a club steeped in history. Since it’s foundation in 1921 the club has been at the heart of everyday life for the people of Javea and surrounding areas.

To play for and to represent CD Javea was, and once again will, become an honour. Crowds of over 2000 regularly attend every home game and followers of football throughout the region came to support the club.

Many members of the board went on to become high ranking officials, even Mayors, at the Ayuntamiento (local council), due to the prestige involved with being a CD Javea committee member. Local supporters clubs such as The Penya La Marina have consistently supported the club throughout its 85 year history.

The club traditionally has played its football at Preferente and 3rd division level at the Municipal stadium in Javea. CD Javea traditionally has very strong links with the major footballing powers in the region.

Throughout the season the club participates in various youth and senior tournaments against its better known neighbours, including Valencia, Villareal, Alicante and Hercules.

The clubs better players have had a corridor of opportunities up to this level, and this is something we are keen to enlarge for the future on a much more structured basis.
